This blockchain project aims to create a decentralized environment for users to interact, transact, and engage with digital assets.
When and how did Izzy start?
Izzy was launched in 2021, founded by a team of blockchain enthusiasts aiming to create a decentralized platform for digital assets. The project gained traction through its innovative features and was initially listed on several cryptocurrency exchanges shortly after its launch. Key developments in its early phase included strategic partnerships and community engagement initiatives, which helped establish Izzy’s presence in the competitive crypto market.
What’s coming up for Izzy?
Izzy is poised for significant growth with its upcoming roadmap updates aimed at enhancing user experience and expanding its ecosystem. The next upgrade will introduce advanced smart contract functionalities, enabling developers to create more complex decentralized applications. Additionally, the community plans to launch a series of educational initiatives to promote widespread adoption and understanding of Izzy’s unique features. As the project evolves, we anticipate increased use cases in decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), solidifying Izzy's position in the competitive crypto landscape.
What makes Izzy stand out?
Izzy stands out from other cryptocurrencies due to its innovative hybrid consensus mechanism, which combines proof-of-stake and proof-of-work to enhance both security and scalability. Unlike many cryptocurrencies, Izzy features a unique tokenomics model that allocates a significant portion of transaction fees to community-driven projects, fostering real-world use cases and ecosystem growth. This approach not only incentivizes participation but also differentiates Izzy as a socially responsible cryptocurrency.
What can you do with Izzy?
Izzy is primarily used for payments within various platforms, enabling seamless transactions. Additionally, it serves as a utility token for staking, allowing users to earn rewards while participating in the network's governance. Izzy also facilitates access to DeFi apps and NFTs, enhancing its utility within the ecosystem.

The active community presence further supports its status as a viable project rather than an inactive or abandoned one.
Who is Izzy designed for?
Izzy is built for a niche community of developers and gamers, focusing on enhancing user engagement through innovative gaming experiences. Its target audience includes blockchain developers looking to integrate gaming elements into their projects, as well as gamers seeking a decentralized platform for interactive play. This unique positioning fosters a vibrant ecosystem that encourages collaboration and creativity within the gaming and tech communities.
How is Izzy secured?
Izzy secures its network through a unique consensus method known as Proof of Stake (PoS), where validators are chosen to create new blocks based on the number of coins they hold and are willing to "stake" as collateral. This approach enhances network security by incentivizing honest participation and reducing the likelihood of malicious attacks, while also ensuring efficient blockchain protection through a decentralized validator setup.
Has Izzy faced any controversy or risks?
Izzy has faced significant risks including extreme volatility, which has raised concerns among investors. Additionally, there have been reports of security incidents and potential rug pulls associated with the project, leading to skepticism about its long-term viability. Legal issues surrounding regulatory compliance further complicate its standing in the crypto market.

What is Market depth?
Market depth is a metric, which is showing the real liquidity of the markets. Due to rampant wash-trading and fake activity - volume currently isn't the most reliable indicator in the crypto space.
What is it measuring?
It's measuring 1% or 10% section of the order book from the midpoint price (1%/10% of the buy orders, and 1%/10% of the sell orders).

Why it is important to use only 1% or 10%?
It's important, because measurement of the whole order book is going to give false results due to extreme values, which can make false illusion of liquidity for a given market.
How to use it?
By default Market depth is showing the most liquid markets sorted by Combined Orders (which is a sum of buy and sell orders). This way it provides the most interesting information already. Left (green) side of the market depth bar is showing how many buy orders are open, and right (red) side of the bar is showing how many sell orders are open (both can be recalculated to BTC, ETH or any fiat we have available on the site).

Confidence
Due to rampant malicious practices in the crypto exchanges environment, we have introduced in 2019 and 2020 new ways of evaluating exchanges and one of them is - Confidence. Because it's a new metric - it's essential to know how it works.
Confidence is weighted based on 3 principles:
Based on the liquidity from order books (75%) - including overall liquidity and market depth/volume ratio, volumes included, if exchange is low volume (below 2M USD volume 24h)
Based on web traffic (20%) - using Alexa rank as a main indicator of site popularity
Based on regulation (5%) - researching and evaluating licensing for exchange - by respective institutions
Adding all of these subscores give overall main result - Confidence
Confidence is mainly based on liquidity, because it's the most important aspect of cryptocurrency exchanges. Without liquidity there is no trading, illiquid markets tend to collapse in the long term. Besides liquidity - there is also an additional factor in calculation of score - market depth/volume ratio. If volume is huge (especially when it’s growing much faster than liquidity), and market depth seems to not keep pace with - it's reducing overall score. Exchanges that keep market makers liquidity with expanding volume are those that keep all ratios in-tact and have overall score above 75-80% (it means that they have all liquidity ratios above minimum requirements, high web traffic participation, and are often regulated).
