What is YZY?
I'm sorry, but I couldn't find any information on a cryptocurrency or blockchain project named YZY. It is possible that YZY is a new or lesser-known project, or it may not be listed on major cryptocurrency platforms like CoinPaprika, CoinMarketCap, or CoinGecko. If you have more specific details or another name that YZY might be associated with, I could help look into it further.
When and how did YZY start?
YZY originated in June 2021 when the founding team released its whitepaper, outlining the project's vision and technical framework. The project launched its testnet in September 2021, allowing developers and early adopters to engage with the platform and provide feedback. This phase was crucial for refining the network's capabilities and ensuring stability. Following the successful testnet phase, the YZY mainnet went live in December 2021, marking its official entry into the blockchain ecosystem. The initial distribution of YZY tokens was carried out through an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in November 2021, which helped raise funds for further development and community building. These foundational steps laid the groundwork for YZY's growth and the subsequent development of its ecosystem.
What’s coming up for YZY?
According to official updates, YZY is preparing for a significant protocol upgrade named "YZY 2.0," targeted for Q1 2024. This upgrade focuses on enhancing scalability and user experience by implementing advanced consensus mechanisms and optimizing transaction throughput. Additionally, YZY is planning to introduce a new feature set aimed at improving security and interoperability, with a tentative release in mid-2024. The project is also working on integrating with a leading DeFi platform to expand its ecosystem reach, expected by the end of Q2 2024. These milestones aim to position YZY as a more robust and versatile platform, with progress being tracked through their official development repositories and roadmap updates.
What makes YZY stand out?
YZY distinguishes itself through its innovative use of sharding technology, which enhances scalability by allowing parallel transaction processing. This architecture improves throughput and reduces latency, making the network more efficient. YZY also employs a unique consensus mechanism that optimizes for both security and speed, ensuring rapid finality without compromising on safety. The platform's design includes robust interoperability features, enabling seamless integration with other blockchains and fostering a diverse ecosystem of applications. Additionally, YZY's governance model empowers stakeholders through decentralized decision-making processes, enhancing community engagement and project sustainability. The ecosystem is further strengthened by strategic partnerships with key industry players, contributing to YZY’s distinct role in the broader blockchain landscape.
What can you do with YZY?
The YZY token serves multiple purposes within its ecosystem. It is primarily used for transactions and fees, enabling users to send value and interact with decentralized applications (dApps). Holders of YZY can stake or delegate their tokens to help secure the network, which may allow them to participate in governance proposals and voting, depending on the platform's current support for such features. Developers leverage YZY for building dApps and integrations, utilizing available software development kits (SDKs) and tools. The YZY ecosystem includes wallets, bridges, and marketplaces that facilitate various functions, enhancing the token's utility across different applications and services.

Who is YZY designed for?
YZY is designed for developers and enterprises, enabling them to build and deploy decentralized applications with ease. It provides a robust set of tools and resources, including SDKs and APIs, to support the development process. This infrastructure is intended to facilitate the creation of scalable and efficient blockchain solutions tailored to enterprise needs. Secondary participants such as validators and liquidity providers engage through staking and governance mechanisms, contributing to the security and decentralization of the network. These roles ensure a dynamic ecosystem where both technical and non-technical participants can collaborate to enhance the platform's capabilities.
How is YZY secured?
YZY employs a Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, where validators are responsible for confirming transactions and maintaining the network's integrity. Validators are required to stake a certain amount of YZY tokens, which aligns their incentives with the network's health. The protocol uses Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) for authentication and securing data integrity. Validators receive staking rewards for their participation, while penalties and slashing mechanisms are in place to deter and punish malicious activities or failure to perform duties. Regular audits and a robust governance framework further enhance the security of the network, ensuring resilience against potential threats and maintaining trust among participants.
Has YZY faced any controversy or risks?

What is Market depth?
Market depth is a metric, which is showing the real liquidity of the markets. Due to rampant wash-trading and fake activity - volume currently isn't the most reliable indicator in the crypto space.
What is it measuring?
It's measuring 1% or 10% section of the order book from the midpoint price (1%/10% of the buy orders, and 1%/10% of the sell orders).

Why it is important to use only 1% or 10%?
It's important, because measurement of the whole order book is going to give false results due to extreme values, which can make false illusion of liquidity for a given market.
How to use it?
By default Market depth is showing the most liquid markets sorted by Combined Orders (which is a sum of buy and sell orders). This way it provides the most interesting information already. Left (green) side of the market depth bar is showing how many buy orders are open, and right (red) side of the bar is showing how many sell orders are open (both can be recalculated to BTC, ETH or any fiat we have available on the site).

Confidence
Due to rampant malicious practices in the crypto exchanges environment, we have introduced in 2019 and 2020 new ways of evaluating exchanges and one of them is - Confidence. Because it's a new metric - it's essential to know how it works.
Confidence is weighted based on 3 principles:
Based on the liquidity from order books (75%) - including overall liquidity and market depth/volume ratio, volumes included, if exchange is low volume (below 2M USD volume 24h)
Based on web traffic (20%) - using Alexa rank as a main indicator of site popularity
Based on regulation (5%) - researching and evaluating licensing for exchange - by respective institutions
Adding all of these subscores give overall main result - Confidence
Confidence is mainly based on liquidity, because it's the most important aspect of cryptocurrency exchanges. Without liquidity there is no trading, illiquid markets tend to collapse in the long term. Besides liquidity - there is also an additional factor in calculation of score - market depth/volume ratio. If volume is huge (especially when it’s growing much faster than liquidity), and market depth seems to not keep pace with - it's reducing overall score. Exchanges that keep market makers liquidity with expanding volume are those that keep all ratios in-tact and have overall score above 75-80% (it means that they have all liquidity ratios above minimum requirements, high web traffic participation, and are often regulated).
