What is KongeFi?
KongeFi (KFI) is a cryptocurrency token that operates on the Ethereum blockchain. The KongeFi token is primarily used for governance within the KongeFi ecosystem, allowing token holders to participate in decision-making processes related to the platform's development and operations. As a blockchain-based asset, KongeFi aims to enhance decentralized finance (DeFi) by providing users with a secure and efficient way to engage in financial activities. By leveraging Ethereum's robust infrastructure, KongeFi benefits from enhanced security and smart contract capabilities, making it a significant player in the DeFi space.
When and how did KongeFi start?
KongeFi (KFI) was launched in 2023 as a decentralized finance project aimed at enhancing financial accessibility through blockchain technology. It was created by a team of anonymous developers who focused on leveraging smart contracts to provide innovative financial solutions. In line with its future plans, KongeFi is also exploring cross-chain integration to expand its ecosystem and increase interoperability with other blockchain networks. Community goals include launching a governance model that empowers token holders to participate in decision-making processes. These initiatives aim to solidify KongeFi's position in the DeFi space and attract a broader user base by offering innovative financial solutions.
What makes KongeFi stand out?
KongeFi (KFI) distinguishes itself from other cryptocurrencies through its unique integration of decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions with real-world asset tokenization, allowing users to invest in tangible assets via blockchain technology. Unlike many cryptocurrencies, KongeFi employs a hybrid consensus mechanism combining Proof of Stake (PoS) and Proof of Real Asset (PoRA), ensuring both energy efficiency and asset-backed security. This special feature enhances transparency and trust, making KFI a standout choice for investors seeking a blend of digital and physical asset exposure.
What can you do with KongeFi?
KongeFi (KFI) is primarily used for staking within its ecosystem, allowing users to earn rewards by participating in network security and operations. Additionally, KFI serves as a utility token in DeFi apps, enabling users to access various financial services and products. It also plays a role in governance, allowing holders to vote on protocol upgrades and changes.
Is KongeFi still active or relevant?
As of the latest data, KongeFi (KFI) is an inactive project with no recent developer updates or significant trading activity, suggesting it may be abandoned. The community presence appears minimal, with no substantial engagement or ongoing discussions. Consequently, it is not currently active or still traded in any meaningful capacity.
Who is KongeFi designed for?
KongeFi (KFI) is built for DeFi users and investors seeking innovative financial solutions. It targets a community of individuals interested in decentralized finance, offering tools and platforms that enhance financial autonomy and investment opportunities. Ideal for users looking to leverage DeFi for asset management and growth, KongeFi aims to streamline and optimize the DeFi experience.
How is KongeFi secured?
KongeFi secures its network using a Proof of Stake consensus mechanism, where validators are selected based on the number of tokens they hold and are willing to "stake" as collateral. This setup enhances blockchain protection by incentivizing validators to act honestly, as they risk losing their staked tokens for malicious activities, thereby ensuring robust network security.
Has KongeFi faced any controversy or risks?
As of now, there are no widely reported controversies, hacks, or legal issues specifically associated with KongeFi (KFI). However, like many emerging cryptocurrencies, it may be subject to risks such as extreme volatility and potential security vulnerabilities inherent in decentralized finance platforms. Investors should conduct thorough research and exercise caution due to the general risks associated with the cryptocurrency market.

What is Market depth?
Market depth is a metric, which is showing the real liquidity of the markets. Due to rampant wash-trading and fake activity - volume currently isn't the most reliable indicator in the crypto space.
What is it measuring?
It's measuring 1% or 10% section of the order book from the midpoint price (1%/10% of the buy orders, and 1%/10% of the sell orders).

Why it is important to use only 1% or 10%?
It's important, because measurement of the whole order book is going to give false results due to extreme values, which can make false illusion of liquidity for a given market.
How to use it?
By default Market depth is showing the most liquid markets sorted by Combined Orders (which is a sum of buy and sell orders). This way it provides the most interesting information already. Left (green) side of the market depth bar is showing how many buy orders are open, and right (red) side of the bar is showing how many sell orders are open (both can be recalculated to BTC, ETH or any fiat we have available on the site).

Confidence
Due to rampant malicious practices in the crypto exchanges environment, we have introduced in 2019 and 2020 new ways of evaluating exchanges and one of them is - Confidence. Because it's a new metric - it's essential to know how it works.
Confidence is weighted based on 3 principles:
Based on the liquidity from order books (75%) - including overall liquidity and market depth/volume ratio, volumes included, if exchange is low volume (below 2M USD volume 24h)
Based on web traffic (20%) - using Alexa rank as a main indicator of site popularity
Based on regulation (5%) - researching and evaluating licensing for exchange - by respective institutions
Adding all of these subscores give overall main result - Confidence
Confidence is mainly based on liquidity, because it's the most important aspect of cryptocurrency exchanges. Without liquidity there is no trading, illiquid markets tend to collapse in the long term. Besides liquidity - there is also an additional factor in calculation of score - market depth/volume ratio. If volume is huge (especially when it’s growing much faster than liquidity), and market depth seems to not keep pace with - it's reducing overall score. Exchanges that keep market makers liquidity with expanding volume are those that keep all ratios in-tact and have overall score above 75-80% (it means that they have all liquidity ratios above minimum requirements, high web traffic participation, and are often regulated).
