Tether held $192.8 billion in total assets at end of Q4 2025. This amount backed $186 billion in USDT, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, at the same date. Excess reserves reached $6.3 billion at end of Q4 2025, above 100% reserves in liquid assets.

Treasury holdings hit $141 billion
Tether reported $141 billion in US Treasury exposure, including direct and indirect holdings, at end of Q4 2025. US Treasuries are debt securities issued by the United States government. USDT supply grew by $50 billion during 2025, reaching $186 billion in circulation by year end.
Profits drop from 2024 peak
