Intercontinental Exchange, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, and trade.xyz agreed on 29 October 2026 to bring Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures to the United States. The plan needs approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Hyperliquid said Payward, the parent of exchange Kraken, plans to become the first regulated deployer on its HIP-3 perpetual futures markets. Bitnomial would own and clear the markets, with NinjaTrader Clearing carrying US client accounts, pending regulatory approval.
Ripple Prime has launched real-world asset perpetual swaps for institutional clients, referencing futures listed by Trade.xyz on Hyperliquid. The products cover more than 100 markets across equities, ETFs, metals, energy and currencies, trading 24/7.
A single wallet made about $1.28 million on Papertrade within hours of the exchange's Saturday launch by moving Ether prices on Hyperliquid. Papertrade, which offers up to 1,000x leverage, said it is tightening position caps in response.
