Ethereum developers postponed the Glamsterdam upgrade's Hoodi testnet launch on 22 October, four days before its scheduled activation. The delay followed a ChainSecurity analysis warning that two gas-accounting changes could harm contracts already running on the network.
JPMorgan has brought its US dollar deposit token, JPM Coin, to the Ethereum network for institutional clients. The bank announced the expansion on Monday, extending the token beyond Base, where it launched in November 2025.
