FTX's leader, SBF, talks about data leaks and faces big court charges. Meanwhile, Binance's CEO reacts strongly to a Statement from Caroline Ellison.

SBF shared that FTX often used apps like Telegram for talking. But, a security problem caused some FTX data to leak.

“We were headquartered in Hong Kong. There were some, uh, security concerns while we were there. Also, former employees might have data to sell to a competitor.”

However, SBF made it clear: “FTX was never directly hacked. Only other companies we worked with were.”

Judge Kaplan's Decision Pending

The judge, Kaplan, might give the jury a break soon. “Tomorrow, I might let the jurors rest. Or maybe not,” he said.

SBF Faces Strong Claims in Court

Since October, SBF has faced big charges in court. Caroline Ellison, who once worked with him, claimed that Sam forced her to commit some crimes, “Sam directed me to commit these crimes,” she said

She also said that SBF wanted to make problems for Binance by making regulators go after them. This made Binance's leader, CZ, very upset.

“We won’t support people who lobby against other industry players behind their backs,” he stated.
