Craig Wright, claiming to be Bitcoin's creator, wins a major U.S. court battle over Bitcoin money. Disputes and lawsuits continue.

Craig Wright, who says he created Bitcoin, won a big U.S. court case about lots of money in Bitcoin.

Wright claims he is Satoshi Nakamoto, the real creator of Bitcoin. A U.S. court said he didn't have a legal deal with David Kleiman, a man he mined bitcoin with long ago.

David's family, led by his brother Ira, wanted the court to say Wright did wrong things in the past case. But the court did not agree.

Last year, a jury in Florida was to decide if David's family had a right to half of the Bitcoin they mined, worth a lot of money. The court supported this decision.

The appeal did not cover the $100 million Wright was previously ordered to pay to W&K Info Defense Research, a company Kleiman founded, on which a separate dispute is ongoing.

Wright is also suing some tech people in the U.K. for refusing to help his company, Tulip Trading, get back some lost Bitcoin.
