Hacker of $46M from KyberSwap wants polite talks, threatens delay if threatened; KyberSwap seeks legal action and recovery.

The hacker behind a $46 million theft from KyberSwap demands politeness in negotiations; he has threatened to delay negotiations with Kyberswap if they keep up the threats and rude approach. The message was received by KyberSwap executives, tokenholders, and liquidity providers on November 28.

KyberSwap offered the hacker a deal letting them keep 10% of the stolen funds if they return 90% of it. But after the hacker didn’t respond immediately, KyberSwap started threatening legal actions and warned that they were tracking the hacker's activities.

KyberSwap also announced a public bounty program to catch the hackers, involving law enforcement. They were able to get back  $4.67 million of the stolen $46 million from front-running bots involved in the hack.

KyberSwap hasn't replied to the hacker's latest message, waiting for a new proposal from the hacker. The hack, which occurred on November 22, involved a complex exploit across multiple networks, including Avalanche, Polygon, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base.

KyberSwap, part of the Kyber Network, is a cross-chain decentralized exchange that allows users to exchange their tokens without the involvement of a middleman.
