Its core purpose is to facilitate transactions and interactions within its ecosystem, providing users with a seamless way to engage with decentralized applications. The TIM token is designed to enhance user participation and governance within the project, making it a vital component of its blockchain-based platform. As a versatile digital asset, TIM aims to empower users through innovative solutions and foster a thriving community.
When and how did TIM start?
TIM was launched in 2021 and developed by a team focused on creating a decentralized ecosystem for digital communication. The project gained attention for its innovative approach to user privacy and data security. TIM was initially listed on several cryptocurrency exchanges, which helped to establish its presence in the market. Early development was marked by community engagement and strategic partnerships that aimed to enhance its utility and adoption.
What’s coming up for TIM?
TIM is poised for significant advancements in its upcoming roadmap, with plans to enhance its platform through the integration of decentralized finance (DeFi) features. The next upgrade will focus on improving user experience and expanding functionality, including the introduction of staking options and a revamped user interface. Community goals emphasize engagement and feedback, with initiatives to involve users in the development process. As TIM evolves, it aims to solidify its position in the crypto space by promoting real-world use cases and fostering a robust ecosystem for its holders.
What makes TIM stand out?
TIM stands out from other cryptocurrencies due to its unique consensus mechanism, which combines proof-of-stake with a novel governance model that empowers users to influence network decisions actively. Unlike many cryptocurrencies, TIM focuses on real-world use cases, particularly in enhancing community engagement and local economies through its innovative ecosystem features. This special technology not only fosters a sustainable tokenomics model but also ensures that the platform remains adaptive to the needs of its users.
What can you do with TIM?

The project aims to foster a vibrant ecosystem where creativity and gaming converge, appealing to both enthusiasts and innovators in the space.
How is TIM secured?
TIM secures its network through a unique consensus mechanism known as Proof of Authority (PoA), where a select group of trusted validators are responsible for validating transactions and maintaining the blockchain. This model enhances network security by ensuring that only pre-approved nodes can produce new blocks, thus providing robust blockchain protection against malicious activities. By leveraging a limited number of validators, TIM achieves efficient consensus while maintaining high levels of security and reliability.
Has TIM faced any controversy or risks?
TIM has faced significant risks and controversies, including concerns over extreme volatility that can lead to substantial financial losses for investors. Additionally, the project has been scrutinized for potential security incidents and allegations of a rug pull, raising questions about its sustainability and trustworthiness. What is Market depth?
Market depth is a metric, which is showing the real liquidity of the markets. Due to rampant wash-trading and fake activity - volume currently isn't the most reliable indicator in the crypto space.
What is it measuring?
It's measuring 1% or 10% section of the order book from the midpoint price (1%/10% of the buy orders, and 1%/10% of the sell orders).

Why it is important to use only 1% or 10%?
It's important, because measurement of the whole order book is going to give false results due to extreme values, which can make false illusion of liquidity for a given market.
How to use it?
By default Market depth is showing the most liquid markets sorted by Combined Orders (which is a sum of buy and sell orders). This way it provides the most interesting information already. Left (green) side of the market depth bar is showing how many buy orders are open, and right (red) side of the bar is showing how many sell orders are open (both can be recalculated to BTC, ETH or any fiat we have available on the site).

Confidence
Due to rampant malicious practices in the crypto exchanges environment, we have introduced in 2019 and 2020 new ways of evaluating exchanges and one of them is - Confidence. Because it's a new metric - it's essential to know how it works.
Confidence is weighted based on 3 principles:
Based on the liquidity from order books (75%) - including overall liquidity and market depth/volume ratio, volumes included, if exchange is low volume (below 2M USD volume 24h)
Based on web traffic (20%) - using Alexa rank as a main indicator of site popularity
Based on regulation (5%) - researching and evaluating licensing for exchange - by respective institutions
Adding all of these subscores give overall main result - Confidence
Confidence is mainly based on liquidity, because it's the most important aspect of cryptocurrency exchanges. Without liquidity there is no trading, illiquid markets tend to collapse in the long term. Besides liquidity - there is also an additional factor in calculation of score - market depth/volume ratio. If volume is huge (especially when it’s growing much faster than liquidity), and market depth seems to not keep pace with - it's reducing overall score. Exchanges that keep market makers liquidity with expanding volume are those that keep all ratios in-tact and have overall score above 75-80% (it means that they have all liquidity ratios above minimum requirements, high web traffic participation, and are often regulated).
