PayPal stablecoin now settles trucking invoices same day

Same day settlement for trucking invoices

TCS Blockchain states that North American trucking carriers can now receive freight invoice settlement on the same day using the PYUSD stablecoin from PayPal USD. The settlement process operates every day of the year and does not use traditional banking payment rails. TCS positions this model as a direct alternative to conventional invoice settlement methods that rely on banks and slower transfers.

How TCS token and PYUSD interact

The company describes a two step structure for these payments. Freight invoices first move through the TCS Token, which is listed on the INX Republic exchange. After that, the flows convert into PYUSD for final settlement to carriers. This structure links a trucking focused token with a dollar referenced stablecoin inside one settlement chain.

"TCS is on pace for over one-billion in annual freight invoice flows in 2026. Those flows will first move through TCS Token – on the INX-Republic exchange – and then through the PYUSD stablecoin.", 03 March 2026. — Todd Ziegler, CEO, TCS Blockchain

Projected flows through invoice system

TCS Blockchain’s chief executive officer, Todd Ziegler, links the new settlement structure with a projection for 2026 freight volume. He states that the company is on pace for over one billion United States dollars in annual freight invoice flows this year. These projected flows would pass first through the TCS Token and then settle in PYUSD.

"With PayPal USD, TCS can offer even greater savings on invoice settlement to carriers, and the best fuel card on the market. The engagement is a tremendous win for truckers, freight brokerages, and at-scale carriers.", 03 March 2026. — Todd Ziegler, CEO, TCS Blockchain

Claims of savings versus factoring

TCS Blockchain presents this settlement model as cheaper than traditional freight invoice factoring, which is the practice of selling invoices to receive earlier payment. The company claims savings on settlement costs compared with these factoring arrangements but provides no audited comparison data. The savings figures therefore remain a claim from TCS, not an independently confirmed measurement.
