Blue Protocol (BLUE)
What is Blue Protocol?
Blue Protocol is a blockchain-based asset that operates as a token within the Blue Protocol ecosystem. This cryptocurrency is designed to enhance digital interactions by offering a secure and efficient platform for decentralized applications. The Blue Protocol token runs on the Ethereum blockchain, leveraging its robust infrastructure to facilitate seamless transactions and smart contract functionality. Primarily used for governance and utility within its network, the Blue Protocol aims to empower users and developers by providing a scalable and flexible environment for blockchain-based solutions.
When and how did Blue Protocol start?
Blue Protocol was launched in 2017 and was created by a team of developers focused on enhancing security in the cryptocurrency space. The project aimed to combat online fraud and theft by developing a decentralized security platform. Blue Protocol gained early attention through its listing on various cryptocurrency exchanges, which helped increase its visibility and adoption. The initial development phase was shaped by the team's focus on creating a robust security framework for digital assets.
What’s coming up for Blue Protocol?
As of the latest updates, Blue Protocol is gearing up for significant advancements in its ecosystem, focusing on enhancing user experience and expanding its capabilities. The roadmap outlines plans for the integration of advanced blockchain technologies to improve transaction efficiency and security. Upcoming features include the launch of a new decentralized application (dApp) platform aimed at fostering community-driven projects and innovations. The community is also actively working on expanding partnerships to increase the adoption of Blue Protocol in various sectors. These future plans are expected to solidify Blue Protocol's position as a versatile and scalable blockchain solution, catering to a broader range of use cases in the digital economy.
What makes Blue Protocol stand out?
Blue Protocol is unique compared to other cryptocurrencies due to its focus on enhancing security and trust in online transactions through its decentralized reputation-based system. A standout technology of Blue Protocol is its use of smart contracts to enforce and verify reputation scores, which helps in mitigating fraud and establishing trust without relying on centralized entities. This special feature provides a real-world use case by enabling safer peer-to-peer interactions and transactions across various digital platforms.
What can you do with Blue Protocol?
Blue Protocol's utility token is primarily used for governance, allowing holders to participate in decision-making processes regarding protocol upgrades and changes. Additionally, it can be utilized within the Blue Protocol ecosystem for staking, enabling users to earn rewards. The token also facilitates interactions within DeFi apps built on the platform.
Is Blue Protocol still active or relevant?
Blue Protocol (blue-blue-protocol) is currently inactive and considered an abandoned project, with no recent trading activity or development updates. There is no active community presence, and the project shows no signs of ongoing development. For more information, visit the official website at [blueprotocol.com](https://www.blueprotocol.com/).
Who is Blue Protocol designed for?
Blue Protocol is built for gamers and a community of online gaming enthusiasts seeking immersive experiences. It targets players who appreciate high-quality graphics and engaging storylines, offering a vibrant virtual world. The platform is ideal for those looking to explore MMORPGs with a focus on cooperative gameplay and adventure.
How is Blue Protocol secured?
Blue Protocol secures its network using a Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, which relies on validators to confirm transactions and maintain blockchain protection. Validators are chosen based on the amount of stake they hold, incentivizing them to act in the network's best interest to ensure robust network security. This setup not only enhances security but also improves energy efficiency compared to traditional Proof of Work systems.
Has Blue Protocol faced any controversy or risks?
Blue Protocol (BLUE) has faced significant challenges, including extreme volatility and market risks, which are common in the cryptocurrency industry. While there have been no major hacks or rug pulls directly associated with Blue Protocol, investors should remain cautious due to the general risks of investing in smaller, less established cryptocurrencies. It's essential for potential investors to conduct thorough research and consider these factors before investing.

What is Market depth?
Market depth is a metric, which is showing the real liquidity of the markets. Due to rampant wash-trading and fake activity - volume currently isn't the most reliable indicator in the crypto space.
What is it measuring?
It's measuring 1% or 10% section of the order book from the midpoint price (1%/10% of the buy orders, and 1%/10% of the sell orders).

Why it is important to use only 1% or 10%?
It's important, because measurement of the whole order book is going to give false results due to extreme values, which can make false illusion of liquidity for a given market.
How to use it?
By default Market depth is showing the most liquid markets sorted by Combined Orders (which is a sum of buy and sell orders). This way it provides the most interesting information already. Left (green) side of the market depth bar is showing how many buy orders are open, and right (red) side of the bar is showing how many sell orders are open (both can be recalculated to BTC, ETH or any fiat we have available on the site).

Confidence
Due to rampant malicious practices in the crypto exchanges environment, we have introduced in 2019 and 2020 new ways of evaluating exchanges and one of them is - Confidence. Because it's a new metric - it's essential to know how it works.
Confidence is weighted based on 3 principles:
Based on the liquidity from order books (75%) - including overall liquidity and market depth/volume ratio, volumes included, if exchange is low volume (below 2M USD volume 24h)
Based on web traffic (20%) - using Alexa rank as a main indicator of site popularity
Based on regulation (5%) - researching and evaluating licensing for exchange - by respective institutions
Adding all of these subscores give overall main result - Confidence
Confidence is mainly based on liquidity, because it's the most important aspect of cryptocurrency exchanges. Without liquidity there is no trading, illiquid markets tend to collapse in the long term. Besides liquidity - there is also an additional factor in calculation of score - market depth/volume ratio. If volume is huge (especially when it’s growing much faster than liquidity), and market depth seems to not keep pace with - it's reducing overall score. Exchanges that keep market makers liquidity with expanding volume are those that keep all ratios in-tact and have overall score above 75-80% (it means that they have all liquidity ratios above minimum requirements, high web traffic participation, and are often regulated).
