What is NICE?
NICE is a cryptocurrency that operates as a token on the Ethereum blockchain. Its core purpose is to facilitate community engagement and reward participation within its ecosystem. The NICE token is used for various activities, including governance decisions and incentivizing users, making it a key component of this blockchain project. With its focus on building a vibrant community, NICE aims to enhance user interaction and promote decentralized initiatives.
When and how did NICE start?
NICE was launched in 2021 as a meme-inspired cryptocurrency, aiming to capitalize on the popularity of internet humor and community engagement. Developed by an anonymous team, it quickly gained traction within the crypto community due to its playful branding and strong social media presence. The token was initially listed on several decentralized exchanges, which facilitated its growth and adoption among investors looking for novelty in the meme coin market.
What’s coming up for NICE?
NICE is poised for significant advancements in its roadmap, with the next upgrade focusing on enhanced scalability and transaction speed. The community is actively working on integrating new features that will facilitate decentralized applications (dApps) and improve user engagement. Additionally, upcoming plans include a series of community events aimed at fostering collaboration and expanding the user base. As NICE evolves, it aims to establish itself as a versatile platform for both social and financial interactions, aligning with its ambitious community goals for the future.
What makes NICE stand out?
NICE stands out from other cryptocurrencies due to its unique meme-inspired branding combined with a robust deflationary tokenomics model, which incentivizes holding through periodic token burns. Compared to traditional cryptocurrencies, NICE leverages a community-driven governance system that empowers users to propose and vote on ecosystem developments, fostering a real-world use case in community engagement and decentralized decision-making. Its special feature of integrating humor into the crypto space enhances its appeal and promotes broader adoption.
What can you do with NICE?
NICE is primarily used as a utility token for payments within various platforms and services. Users can engage in staking to earn rewards and participate in governance decisions that shape the future of the project. Additionally, NICE is integrated into DeFi apps and can be utilized for trading and purchasing NFTs, enhancing its versatility within the crypto ecosystem.
Is NICE still active or relevant?
NICE is currently active, with ongoing development and a dedicated community presence. The project is still traded on various platforms, indicating sustained interest among investors. However, it's essential to monitor updates closely, as the project's long-term viability depends on continued developer engagement and community support.
Who is NICE designed for?
NICE is primarily built for a niche community of crypto enthusiasts and meme culture aficionados. Its playful branding and community-driven approach target users who appreciate humor in the crypto space, fostering engagement among meme lovers and casual investors. This coin is ideal for those looking to participate in a lighthearted yet vibrant segment of the cryptocurrency market.
How is NICE secured?
NICE secures its network through a Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, where validators are selected to create new blocks based on the number of tokens they hold and are willing to "stake." This method enhances network security by incentivizing validators to act honestly, as they risk losing their staked tokens for malicious behavior, thereby ensuring robust blockchain protection and integrity.
Has NICE faced any controversy or risks?
NICE has faced significant controversy due to its extreme volatility, raising concerns about investor risk. Additionally, the project has been scrutinized for potential security incidents and allegations of rug pulls, which have led to a lack of trust among some community members. Legal issues related to regulatory compliance further complicate its standing in the cryptocurrency market.

What is Market depth?
Market depth is a metric, which is showing the real liquidity of the markets. Due to rampant wash-trading and fake activity - volume currently isn't the most reliable indicator in the crypto space.
What is it measuring?
It's measuring 1% or 10% section of the order book from the midpoint price (1%/10% of the buy orders, and 1%/10% of the sell orders).

Why it is important to use only 1% or 10%?
It's important, because measurement of the whole order book is going to give false results due to extreme values, which can make false illusion of liquidity for a given market.
How to use it?
By default Market depth is showing the most liquid markets sorted by Combined Orders (which is a sum of buy and sell orders). This way it provides the most interesting information already. Left (green) side of the market depth bar is showing how many buy orders are open, and right (red) side of the bar is showing how many sell orders are open (both can be recalculated to BTC, ETH or any fiat we have available on the site).

Confidence
Due to rampant malicious practices in the crypto exchanges environment, we have introduced in 2019 and 2020 new ways of evaluating exchanges and one of them is - Confidence. Because it's a new metric - it's essential to know how it works.
Confidence is weighted based on 3 principles:
Based on the liquidity from order books (75%) - including overall liquidity and market depth/volume ratio, volumes included, if exchange is low volume (below 2M USD volume 24h)
Based on web traffic (20%) - using Alexa rank as a main indicator of site popularity
Based on regulation (5%) - researching and evaluating licensing for exchange - by respective institutions
Adding all of these subscores give overall main result - Confidence
Confidence is mainly based on liquidity, because it's the most important aspect of cryptocurrency exchanges. Without liquidity there is no trading, illiquid markets tend to collapse in the long term. Besides liquidity - there is also an additional factor in calculation of score - market depth/volume ratio. If volume is huge (especially when it’s growing much faster than liquidity), and market depth seems to not keep pace with - it's reducing overall score. Exchanges that keep market makers liquidity with expanding volume are those that keep all ratios in-tact and have overall score above 75-80% (it means that they have all liquidity ratios above minimum requirements, high web traffic participation, and are often regulated).
