After a meeting with Samson Mow, the founder of Bitcoin adoption company JAN3, Colombian President Gustavo Petro has now become a Bitcoin holder. During the meeting, they discussed a possible change in Colombia’s approach towards Bitcoin and blockchain along with its integration into Columbia’s economy.
At the meeting, Columbia’s President was given 100,000 sats (0.001 BTC) by Mow making the President a Bitcoin holder. Mow shared the news on social media, along with his gratitude for Petro's openness to Bitcoin, ending it with And don’t lose your Bitcoin!
