North Korean hackers hit big, stealing $41 million from popular online casino Stake.com. FBI urges stronger online safety.

A famous hacker group from North Korea took $41 million in Crypto from an online casino and betting site. This shows their skills in stealing online.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) warns that this group has stolen more than $200 million in digital money this year alone. These hackers show why we need better online safety and help from other countries to stop such crimes.

Stake, a popular casino online, stopped its work on September 4 because hackers took money from some of its wallets. They fixed the problem in five hours, and only certain wallets were affected. The FBI says this $41.3 million theft was done by the Lazarus Group.

Edward Craven, who founded the casino, called this theft a “smart break-in.” The casino, Stake, lets people bet using famous digital money like Bitcoin and has many users from all over the world, including places like Canada and Japan.

The FBI will keep making efforts to  stop North Korea's bad activities online. They want to protect digital money and keep the internet safe.
