Donald Trump’s Ethereum Holdings Increases by $91,000
Donald Trump's Ethereum grows by $91,000 after launching his own NFT collection last year and the recent rise in the price of ETH.
Former President Donald Trump has earned $91,000 more from his Ethereum cryptocurrency since starting his NFT collection last year.
Data from Arkham Intelligence shows that Trump has 1,553 ETH in his digital wallet. With the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum going up recently, Trump's NFT value has increased by $91,000. Reasons for this rise include hopes for new rules from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and positive news about Ripple, another cryptocurrency.
A group that checks on government ethics, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, found out that Trump had Ethereum worth $2.8 million in August. Now, it's about $2.71 million.
Even though Trump was unsure about cryptocurrencies before, he got involved in the crypto world. He made a digital project with special pictures of himself, called "Trump Digital Collectible Cards." This project was a big hit. He even made a second series of these pictures in April. From these projects, Trump made $4.87 million.
As of the time of writing this, the price of ETH is $1,687, going up by 3.85% in the past 24 hours, based on Coinpaprika data.
