Thunder Terminal attacked as hackers cart away large amounts of digital assets, Thunder Terminal takes quick actions

Thunder Terminal, an on-chain trading platform, was hacked, losing 86 ETH and 439 SOL. Despite the hack, they ensure that all funds are safe. The hackers gained access through a MongoDB URL and used it to take out funds by faking withdrawal requests.

The hack started at 12:11:47 AM UTC and was stopped by 12:20:35 AM UTC. Thunder acted quickly, revoking all session tokens and access to transaction signing for safety. They emphasized that no private keys or wallets were affected, and only a small number of wallets on their platform were impacted.

Thunder promised to refund all lost funds and offer extra benefits to affected users. However, the hackers claim they have user data and are asking for 50 ETH to delete it. In response, Thunder has taken steps to prevent further hacks and secure session tokens.
