Solana Gaming Platform Hacked: 80% Liquidity Lost
Aurory gaming on Solana was hit by a major hack, losing 80% in AURY-USDC pool. Team acts fast, disabling SyncSpace to protect funds and stabilize the market.
A Solana-based gaming platform, Aurory has faced a big security breach, causing it to lose 80% of its AURY-USDC pool liquidity. The SyncSpace Aurory Bridge on Camelot’s DEX Arbitrum was hacked, which has triggered a quick action from the team.
The hacker exploited the SyncSpace bridge, helping him withdraw about 600k $AURY tokens to Arbitrum, and he sold them all. SyncSpace was quickly disabled to stop further issues, protecting user funds and NFTs.
The stolen $AURY came from a team’s wallet, not user funds. The team worked to stabilize the market and avoid a total dump by buying back tokens and planning security improvements.
The AURY token’s value dropped by 17% to $1.17 after the breach but later recovered some value. The team is buying back tokens while they continue their investigation.
The breach has led to discussions on decentralized ecosystem security. The Aurory team promises a thorough analysis after resolving the issue, with SyncSpace expected to resume soon with plans for an upcoming event for users.
