SBF Twitter Drafts Gets Leaked; “I’m Broke and Hated”
Ex FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried laments on his troubles and blames his partner via leaked Twitter Drafts
Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), FTX Ex CEO , is in big trouble. He shared a long message on Twitter about his legal problems while under house arrest in Palo Alto, California.
SBF was free after paying $250 million bail since December 2022. However, a New York court stopped this in August 2023, claiming he tried to influence witnesses.
In his Twitter message, SBF plans his defense for a trial on October 3.
SBF talked about his past and the problems at FTX. He believes he did the right things. He says a former partner, Caroline Ellison, made many mistakes. He wrote,“I’m broke and wearing an ankle monitor and one of the most hated people in the world, There will probably never be anything I can do to make my lifetime impact net positive.” Now, he's locked in a Brooklyn jail after a judge said he can't be free.
SBF says he never took customer money wrongly. But, New York lawyers will charge him for many crimes. On August 22, he said he didn't do these crimes. They will judge SBF for fraud, money laundering, and breaking a campaign finance law. The lawyers believe this helped him do other wrong things.
