Honda now accepts cryptocurrencies like XRP and SHIB for buying and leasing cars

Japan's big car maker, Honda, now lets people use cryptocurrency, like XRP and Shiba Inu (SHIB), to buy or lease its products. They teamed up with a payment system called FCF Pay to make this happen.

Not only the well-known Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) but also meme coins, which are fun tokens likeDogecoin (DOGE), can be used. Some of these coins started as jokes but are now worth a lot of money. For example, Dogecoin is worth over $8.6 billion now.

Honda has even made a special video to explain meme coins, to help people understand what they are.

SHIB has been in the news because Chariot Energy, in Texas, lets people pay their solar panel bills with it. Big British bank, HSBC, also lets customers pay their home bills with cryptocurrencies, like XRP and SHIB. So, it's not just Honda that's getting excited about digital money!
