SEC accused of misleading court in Ripple case; Ripple fights back, XRP price at $0.511 amid legal woes.

A legal expert accused the SEC of misleading the court in the Ripple case. The SEC wants Ripple's financial statements and sales contracts, but Bill Morgan, a lawyer following the case, says the SEC is often misleading.

Ripple's legal team is trying to correct what they call a factual mistake by the SEC. They filed a sur-reply letter to make the court aware of the issue. This is based on a post by defense attorney James K. Filan.

Ripple argued that sharing post-complaint contracts is difficult. They didn't share these in a previous case, Zakinov v. Ripple Labs, either. The SEC is using this case and others in its lawsuit against Binance.

The XRP token, central to this legal battle, was trading at $0.511, down slightly on the day and facing losses over the past week and month.
