Sam Altman's crypto project, Worldcoin, is set to launch its WLD token and main network, with a listing on Binance.

Worldcoin, a cryptocurrency project started by Sam Altman, is ready to launch its WLD token and main network today. This news was shared on Twitter during the weekend. Also, Binance, a major cryptocurrency exchange, announced they will list this new digital currency

Sam Altman, co-founder of Open AI, has been developing Worldcoin for a long time. Open AI is well-known for creating ChatGPT, a popular artificial intelligence tool.

Worldcoin's team, known as Tools for Humanity, collected $115 million in a funding round in May. Key investors included Blockchain Capital, a16z, Bain Capital Crypto, and Distributed Global.

One of Worldcoin's main ideas is the importance of solid proof of identity in today's world of artificial intelligence. According to Worldcoin co-founder Alex Blania, the debate now is focused on privacy, decentralization, and inclusivity.

Details about the project's economic model will be shared later. In May, Worldcoin released a wallet for their protocol, called World App, which operates on the Polygon network.

As Worldcoin launches its main network and WLD token, it hopes to make a big impact in the cryptocurrency world with its unique approach to decentralized solutions. This launch is a significant milestone for Worldcoin, which is expected to attract the attention of the cryptocurrency community.
