Airdrops and Unlocks Worth over $800 Million Set for December
Major crypto tokens like dYdX, Optimism, 1inch, Aptos, and ApeCoin are set for December unlocks, with Jupiter announcing airdrop plans on Solana.
Several crypto projects are set to release large quantities of tokens in December. dYdX leads with 150 million tokens unlocking on Dec. 1, worth $500 million. The exchange's price increased after the project delayed this unlock from February to December.
Other known token unlocks happening soon are Optimism and 1inch. Optimism will release 32.21 million tokens worth $58 million on Nov. 29, and 1inch will unlock 98.74 million tokens worth $34.5 million on Dec. 1.
Aptos and ApeCoin are also among the significant unlocks. Aptos will release 24.84 million tokens worth $180 million on Dec. 12, and ApeCoin will unlock 15.16 million tokens worth $25 million on Dec. 16.
Jupiter, a DEX aggregator on Solana, announced its upcoming airdrop. The claim page for the airdrop will go live on Friday, with adjustments made to account for bot activity and power users.
