Visa is testing a new way for people to use their cards to pay for blockchain costs, making it simpler and skipping the need for cryptocurrency.

Visa is trying to make blockchain payments easier. They are testing a way for people to pay gas fees with a Visa card. Gas fees are costs users pay to do transactions on the Ethereum blockchain.

Right now, users need to buy ETH, a kind of cryptocurrency, to pay these fees. Sometimes, they might pay too much or too little because gas prices change a lot. This makes it complicated.

Visa has a new idea. They will use a system and a special "paymaster" contract on Ethereum:

1. A user wants to make a transaction.

2. A service checks how much the gas fee is.

3. This service then charges the user's Visa card.

4. After that, the service tells the user's wallet that the payment is okay.

5. The wallet sends this approval and the transaction to Ethereum.

6. The paymaster contract checks everything and pays the gas fee.

With this, users don't need to have ETH just to pay fees. It makes things simpler.

Visa has already tried this on a test system, and it worked. This could make it much easier for people to use blockchain. They could just use their Visa cards to pay for the gas fees.
