Crypto firms offer 10% reward to hackers for return of stolen tokens, vowing legal pursuit otherwise.

Curve Finance and other crypto lending victims have offered a 10% reward to the hackers who stole their tokens. They want the rest of their tokens returned.

The victims, including Curve, Metronome, and Alchemix, sent a message to the hacker's Ethereum address. They have promised not to take further action or involve law enforcement if the tokens are returned by August 6 at 0800 UTC. If not, the reward will be given to anyone who can help arrest and convict the hacker.

The message from the victims is clear: "We will pursue you with the law".

These crypto companies lost about $62 million on Sunday due to a bug that the hacker used to steal from their trading pools. Although they have retrieved some tokens, the hacker still has most of them.

This situation is similar to another case with Euler, a DeFi protocol. After losing a large amount to hackers in 2023, Euler successfully negotiated for the return of their assets.
