Pi Network is now available in Telegram’s crypto wallet, giving it access to over 1 billion users, but top exchange listings are still missing.

Pi Network has now been integrated into Telegram’s crypto wallet, giving it potential access to over 1 billion monthly users, according to Telegram CEO Pavel Durov. With this move, users of the messaging app can now buy PI tokens directly within the platform, offering a major opportunity for Pi Network to grow its presence in the crypto space.

While the integration boosts visibility, Pi Network still faces challenges. It has not yet been listed on top-tier exchanges like Binance or Coinbase, which could bring more trust and demand. Despite this, Pi fans are celebrating the news as a big step toward mass adoption, especially in the decentralized finance world.

The PI token had a strong launch, rising nearly 100% in its first week and peaking at $2.92 on February 27. But since then, prices have fallen, with ongoing liquidations and growing doubts from major exchanges delaying its broader acceptance. Over the past week, PI’s price has dropped more than 25%, showing a clear dip in buyer interest.

Still, the Telegram integration brings fresh hope. Durov, who returned to work this month after his arrest in August 2024, shared exciting updates about Telegram’s growth. He said the app has now passed one billion monthly active users, becoming the second-most-used messaging app globally—excluding China’s WeChat. On average, users spend 41 minutes daily on Telegram, making it a valuable space for crypto activity.

Despite these numbers, Telegram’s crypto wallet features haven’t yet reached their full potential. Adoption remains limited, and while Pi Network now has a way to reach millions of new users, it still has to convince them to buy and hold the token. Without strong engagement, the price may continue its downward trend.

If Pi Network can tap into even a small portion of Telegram’s massive user base, it could see renewed momentum. But if interest remains low and listings on major exchanges don’t come through, its future remains uncertain.
