Coinbase New Mainnet BASE Hits 100k Users in a Day
Coinbase's new system, Base, hit 100,000 users in a day right after its launch, becoming a popular choice for online money tasks.
Coinbase's new blockchain, Base, had over100,000 users in one day just after its public launch.
Data from Aug. 10 says that Base had around 136,000 daily users, the most it's ever had. This happened on the second day after it was released to the public. 30% of these users were new, adding up to about 42,000 people.
According to CryptoRank, Base is now the 4th most used among similar blockchain solutions. It comes after zkSync Era, Arbitrum, and Optimism.
Coinbase released the Base network on Aug. 9. Before that, only developers could use it. They first tested it on Feb. 23 and opened it for developers on July 13. Many believe that Base can bring more users to new web technologies because Coinbase has many users.
Now, with Base, people can do many things like exchanging digital money, making online payments, or starting their own online groups.
