Protocol Zero (ZRO)
What is Protocol Zero?
Protocol Zero is a cryptocurrency known as the Protocol Zero token, which is designed to facilitate gasless transactions on the Ethereum blockchain. Its core purpose is to enable users to interact with decentralized applications (dApps) without incurring traditional gas fees, thereby enhancing the user experience and accessibility of blockchain technology. The Protocol Zero token operates within a unique ecosystem that leverages meta-transactions, allowing users to delegate transaction fees to third parties. This innovative approach aims to streamline and simplify interactions on the Ethereum network, making it more efficient and user-friendly.
When and how did Protocol Zero start?
Protocol Zero (ZRO) was launched in 2023 as a decentralized finance project aimed at eliminating gas fees for blockchain transactions. It was developed by a team of blockchain enthusiasts and developers, although specific founders have not been publicly named. The project gained early traction through strategic partnerships and was initially listed on several decentralized exchanges, boosting its visibility in the crypto community. Protocol Zero's innovative approach to reducing transaction costs quickly attracted attention, marking a significant milestone in its early development.
What’s coming up for Protocol Zero?
Protocol Zero (ZRO) is actively gearing up for its next phase of development, focusing on enhancing scalability and user experience. According to the latest roadmap updates, the team is preparing to launch a new layer-2 solution aimed at significantly reducing transaction costs and increasing processing speed. Upcoming features include the integration of advanced smart contract capabilities, designed to attract more decentralized applications (dApps) to the platform. The community is also planning a series of workshops and hackathons to foster innovation and engagement, aligning with their future plans for ecosystem expansion. These initiatives are expected to solidify Protocol Zero's position as a versatile and efficient blockchain solution, broadening its use cases across various industries.
What makes Protocol Zero stand out?
Protocol Zero (ZRO) is unique compared to other cryptocurrencies due to its innovative "No Gas" technology, which eliminates transaction fees, making it highly efficient for microtransactions and everyday use. Unlike traditional blockchain networks, Protocol Zero employs a consensus mechanism that combines elements of Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) technology with a Proof-of-Authority (PoA) model, ensuring fast and scalable transactions. This standout technology positions Protocol Zero as a practical solution for real-world use cases, particularly in environments where low-cost, high-speed transactions are essential.
What can you do with Protocol Zero?
Protocol Zero (ZRO) is primarily used for payments within its ecosystem, enabling seamless transactions without gas fees. It also serves as a utility token for accessing various DeFi apps on the platform, providing users with opportunities for staking and earning rewards. Additionally, ZRO plays a role in governance, allowing holders to participate in decision-making processes related to the protocol's development and updates.
Is Protocol Zero still active or relevant?
As of the latest update, Protocol Zero (ZRO) appears to be an inactive project with minimal trading activity and no recent developer updates, suggesting it may be abandoned. There is little evidence of an active community presence, and the project does not seem to have ongoing development efforts. The platform is also adopted by businesses and projects aiming to enhance user engagement by reducing barriers in blockchain adoption.
How is Protocol Zero secured?
Protocol Zero secures its network using a unique consensus method called Proof of Synergy, which combines elements of Proof of Stake and Proof of Work to enhance blockchain protection. Validators in the network are selected based on their stake and computational contributions, ensuring a balanced and energy-efficient approach to network security. This hybrid model aims to provide robust defense against attacks while maintaining decentralization and efficiency.
Has Protocol Zero faced any controversy or risks?
As of now, there are no widely reported controversies, hacks, or legal issues specifically associated with Protocol Zero (ZRO) on the official website https://nogas.pro. However, like many emerging cryptocurrencies, it may face risks such as market volatility and potential security vulnerabilities, which are common concerns in the crypto industry. Investors should conduct thorough research and exercise caution.

What is Market depth?
Market depth is a metric, which is showing the real liquidity of the markets. Due to rampant wash-trading and fake activity - volume currently isn't the most reliable indicator in the crypto space.
What is it measuring?
It's measuring 1% or 10% section of the order book from the midpoint price (1%/10% of the buy orders, and 1%/10% of the sell orders).

Why it is important to use only 1% or 10%?
It's important, because measurement of the whole order book is going to give false results due to extreme values, which can make false illusion of liquidity for a given market.
How to use it?
By default Market depth is showing the most liquid markets sorted by Combined Orders (which is a sum of buy and sell orders). This way it provides the most interesting information already. Left (green) side of the market depth bar is showing how many buy orders are open, and right (red) side of the bar is showing how many sell orders are open (both can be recalculated to BTC, ETH or any fiat we have available on the site).

Confidence
Due to rampant malicious practices in the crypto exchanges environment, we have introduced in 2019 and 2020 new ways of evaluating exchanges and one of them is - Confidence. Because it's a new metric - it's essential to know how it works.
Confidence is weighted based on 3 principles:
Based on the liquidity from order books (75%) - including overall liquidity and market depth/volume ratio, volumes included, if exchange is low volume (below 2M USD volume 24h)
Based on web traffic (20%) - using Alexa rank as a main indicator of site popularity
Based on regulation (5%) - researching and evaluating licensing for exchange - by respective institutions
Adding all of these subscores give overall main result - Confidence
Confidence is mainly based on liquidity, because it's the most important aspect of cryptocurrency exchanges. Without liquidity there is no trading, illiquid markets tend to collapse in the long term. Besides liquidity - there is also an additional factor in calculation of score - market depth/volume ratio. If volume is huge (especially when it’s growing much faster than liquidity), and market depth seems to not keep pace with - it's reducing overall score. Exchanges that keep market makers liquidity with expanding volume are those that keep all ratios in-tact and have overall score above 75-80% (it means that they have all liquidity ratios above minimum requirements, high web traffic participation, and are often regulated).
