Read the signal
Close to a level. Not a prediction.
A nearby moving average is a place to pay attention. Price can cross, bounce or continue sideways.
What does −1.2% mean?
The last daily average price is 1.2% below the moving average. Distance = (price ÷ MA − 1) × 100. All four columns use daily candles.
Is the gap actually closing?
We compare absolute distance now with the previous completed day. A decrease of at least 0.005 percentage points is “closing”; an increase of that size is “widening”. Smaller changes are “little changed”. A cross is shown separately. “Largest gap decrease” sorts non-crossing coins first by the reduction in absolute distance over one candle; crossing coins follow. The MA itself can move, so a shrinking gap does not necessarily mean price is rising.
Look for supporting evidence
Relative volume compares the last completed day with the mean of the preceding 20 candles. MA direction compares the focus average with its value five candles ago. 1.5× means 50% more volume. It is context, not a probability of a breakout.
Data & methodology
Understand the screener
Moving Average Radar compares a coin's last daily average price with its 10, 20, 50 and 200-day simple or exponential moving averages. Choose a focus average, then narrow the screen by distance, volume and market cap.
Is MA200 the 200-day average?
Yes. Every period is one daily candle, so MA200 covers the last 200 completed UTC days. The 24h metrics come from the latest daily candle.
Does approaching an MA predict a breakout?
No. It identifies a price near an average with a shrinking absolute gap. The average can move too. Price may cross, bounce or move sideways; relative volume provides context, not a probability.
How fresh is this data?
The screen is rebuilt once a day after 00:00 UTC. This snapshot uses the days completed by 21 Oct 2026, 00:00 UTC.
Can software read the same values?
Yes. The JSON snapshot carries every coin's SMA and EMA readings with the snapshot time. Read the formulas above before comparing values.
