About SPICE

$SPICE is the governance token that enables the SPICE DAO. The SPICE DAO is a community that launches and governs crypto index products.

SPICE DAO’s crypto indices offer an easy way to invest in a diversified basket of digital assets through one single ERC-20 token, saving transaction fees and leveraging automated rebalancing and asset vetting. So far, the SPICE DAO has launched two indices: the SCIFI Index and the Galactic Blue Index.


Index products launched by the SPICE DAO, include a fixed allocation of $SPICE. As the value of the AUM of the SPICE DAO indices grows, so does the demand for $SPICE. This results in the creation of a long-term reward structure for its investors.

$SPICE inclusion in the indices replaces the need for a management fee, so instead of paying fees to the fund provider, investors become owners of the fund provider.
