HashKey to Stop Binance Wallet Transactions, Announces Expansion Plans
HashKey ceases Binance transactions, expands global crypto services
Due to a policy update, HashKey will halt deposits from Binance wallets from May 10 and withdrawals from these wallets from May 17.
The Hong Kong-based exchange did not elaborate on the change but confirmed that other wallet transactions remain unaffected.
HashKey is expanding its services after securing approval to serve retail investors in Hong Kong.
It also launched HashKey Global in Bermuda, offering spot trading for 21 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, with plans to expand to future trading and add staking features.
Livio Weng, the COO of HashKey, aims to grow the company into one of the largest licensed exchange clusters worldwide within five years, outperforming current regulated exchanges.
In January 2024, HashKey initiated a partnership with Animoca Brands to enhance the Web3 ecosystem in Asia.
The collaboration will focus on education and provide resources to help people understand the cryptocurrency market.
Additionally, it will allow Animoca Brands to list certain digital assets on HashKey’s trading platform, boosting strategic development in the region.
