Chirp celebrates 2 years with a game launch, MapMetrics improves navigation features, and Privasea starts a new node sale with token airdrop eligibility.

Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePin) are continuing to evolve, with decentralized projects making an impact in real-world infrastructure. Recently, significant developments have been made by Chirp, MapMetrics, and Privasea.

Chirp celebrated its two-year anniversary on October 18, highlighting that 2022 and 2023 were focused on establishing foundational partnerships and expanding its network. 2024, however, has been a year of product launches, including the highly anticipated CHIRP token. As part of the anniversary celebration, Chirp also teased the launch of its P2E mobile game next week, which will allow users to earn CHIRP tokens while playing, marking an important milestone in engaging its ecosystem.

MapMetrics, known for its drive-to-earn navigation app, has rolled out a new update that improves navigation functionality. This update includes features such as city-specific filtering, upgraded GPS functionalities, and enhanced night driving visibility. Although MapMetrics also includes a GameFi component, the focus of this update was to ensure the app remains a high-quality navigation tool for its users. The company aims to continuously refine the app’s stability and user experience in future updates.

Privasea, an AI and DePin network, announced another node sale in partnership with CVPad. This sale follows their highly successful August node sale, which sold out in just 48 hours. The current sale, which runs until October 28, also offers participants eligibility for a token airdrop. Privasea specializes in enhancing privacy for AI computations and fraud prevention, backed by $10 million in investor funding. Their ImHuman app employs “Proof of Human” technology to ensure user identity verification.

These updates reflect the ongoing growth and innovation in the DePin sector, as networks like Chirp, MapMetrics, and Privasea push forward with new initiatives aimed at enhancing user experience and expanding their ecosystems.
