AI-crafted IDs are now bypassing crypto exchange security checks for a mere $15, offering scammers a stealthy tool to mask their identities.

OnlyFake utilizes artificial intelligence to generate convincing fake driver’s licenses and passports, tricking KYC verifications across various crypto platforms. This service spans 26 countries and accepts crypto payments.

A report demonstrated an OnlyFake-generated British passport successfully circumventing OKX's identity verification. Similar successes were shared by users for platforms like Kraken and PayPal, highlighting the potential for abuse exchange Vigilance and Response In light of these breaches, OKX refutes any compromise in their security protocols, asserting a firm stance against fraud. OnlyFake, meanwhile, claims its products are meant for entertainment, not deceit.


This issue adds to the existing concerns around identity fraud in crypto, with technologies like deepfakes making impersonation easier. Security experts stress the need for more sophisticated verification methods.
