Roger Ver is one of the earliest investors and promoters of bitcoin. He is one of the founders of the Bitcoin Foundation. Roger has been known as "Bitcoin Jesus" for his promotion of bitcoin. He was pro-Bitcoin split in 2017, which saw the birth of Bitcoin Cash after a clash of ideas among the leading lights within the Bitcoin network. Since that he event - he promotes Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and claims it to be the true Bitcoin Grew up in Silicon Valley. In 1999 Roger began his career by founding MemoryDealers at the age of nineteen while still attending college. Under his leadership the company quickly grew to become a market leader, employing dozens of people across the world and generating millions of dollars in revenue. In 2005 Roger saw an opportunity in the market for fibre optic transceivers used in networking subsystems, so he founded Agilestar. Agilestar went on to become a world leader in optical transceivers used by fortune 100 companies around the world. He also sold explosives on eBay and later pleaded guilty to three related felony charges. He served 10 months in prison, then moved to Japan in 2005. Roger Ver renounced his United States citizenship in 2014 after obtaining a Saint Kitts and Nevis passport. He identifies as a libertarian, an anarcho-capitalist, peace advocate, and an advocate for individualism and voluntaryism. He is also an investor in multiple bitcoin startups - including Bitcoin.com (also a founder), Blockchain.com, Bitpay.com, Kraken.com, purse.io, and many many more.
