What is Shiba Cash?
Shiba Cash (SHIBCA) is a cryptocurrency project launched in 2021, designed as a community-driven initiative within the broader Shiba Inu ecosystem. Its primary purpose is to provide a decentralized platform for users to engage in transactions and support charitable causes, particularly animal welfare. Operating on the Ethereum blockchain, Shiba Cash utilizes the ERC-20 token standard, which allows for seamless integration with various wallets and decentralized applications. The native token, SHIBCA, serves multiple roles, including facilitating transactions, enabling community governance, and supporting staking mechanisms that reward holders. What sets Shiba Cash apart is its focus on community involvement and charitable contributions, aiming to create a positive impact while fostering a vibrant ecosystem. This commitment to social responsibility, combined with its integration within the popular Shiba Inu community, positions Shiba Cash as a noteworthy player in the cryptocurrency landscape.
When and how did Shiba Cash start?
Shiba Cash originated in July 2021 when a team of developers released its whitepaper, outlining the project's vision and goals. The project aimed to create a community-driven token that would offer a decentralized financial ecosystem. Following the whitepaper release, Shiba Cash launched its mainnet in August 2021, making the token available for trading and use within its ecosystem. Early development focused on building a vibrant community and establishing various use cases for the token, including rewards and staking mechanisms. The initial distribution of Shiba Cash occurred through a fair launch model, allowing users to acquire tokens without the constraints of an initial coin offering (ICO) or private sale. This approach aimed to foster inclusivity and ensure that the community played a central role in the project's growth. These foundational steps set the stage for Shiba Cash's subsequent development and community engagement.
What’s coming up for Shiba Cash?
According to official updates, Shiba Cash is preparing for a series of enhancements aimed at expanding its ecosystem. Notably, the project is set to introduce a new staking feature planned for Q1 2024, which will allow users to earn rewards by holding their tokens. Additionally, Shiba Cash is working on integrating with various decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms to enhance liquidity and usability, with targeted partnerships expected to be announced in the coming months. The team is also focused on community governance initiatives, with a governance proposal expected to be put to a vote in Q2 2024, allowing holders to influence future developments. These milestones aim to improve user engagement and overall functionality within the Shiba Cash ecosystem, with progress being tracked through their official communication channels.
What makes Shiba Cash stand out?
Shiba Cash distinguishes itself through its unique tokenomics and community-driven approach, which emphasizes rewarding holders and fostering engagement. The project operates on the Ethereum blockchain, utilizing a deflationary model that incorporates a burn mechanism, reducing supply over time and potentially increasing value for holders. This model is complemented by a redistribution feature that allocates a portion of transaction fees back to existing holders, incentivizing long-term investment. Additionally, Shiba Cash has developed a vibrant ecosystem that includes community initiatives and partnerships aimed at enhancing its utility and adoption. The project focuses on creating a decentralized platform that encourages user participation and governance, allowing the community to have a say in future developments. This emphasis on community involvement, combined with its innovative tokenomics, positions Shiba Cash as a distinct player in the cryptocurrency landscape, appealing to both new investors and seasoned crypto enthusiasts.
What can you do with Shiba Cash?
Shiba Cash serves multiple practical utilities within its ecosystem. Primarily, it functions as a medium of exchange, allowing users to conduct transactions and make payments seamlessly. Holders can engage in staking, which helps secure the network while potentially earning rewards, depending on the specific staking mechanisms in place. Additionally, Shiba Cash may offer governance features, enabling holders to participate in decision-making processes regarding the future of the project, such as voting on proposals or changes to the protocol. This fosters a community-driven approach to development and enhancements. For developers, Shiba Cash provides tools and resources for building decentralized applications (dApps) and integrations, facilitating innovation within the ecosystem. The token can also be utilized in various decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, enhancing its utility beyond simple transactions. Overall, Shiba Cash aims to create a vibrant ecosystem where users, holders, and developers can interact, transact, and contribute to the project's growth and sustainability.
Is Shiba Cash still active or relevant?
Shiba Cash remains active through recent developments, including a community-driven initiative announced in September 2023 aimed at enhancing its ecosystem. The project has focused on expanding its utility within the decentralized finance (DeFi) space, with ongoing discussions about potential partnerships and integrations with other platforms. As of October 2023, Shiba Cash is listed on several decentralized exchanges, maintaining a presence in the market with consistent trading volume. The community actively engages through social media channels, indicating ongoing interest and participation. Additionally, the project has a GitHub repository that shows recent commits and updates, reflecting a commitment to development and improvement. These indicators support its continued relevance within the broader cryptocurrency landscape, particularly among meme coins and community-driven projects.
Who is Shiba Cash designed for?
Shiba Cash is designed for cryptocurrency enthusiasts and everyday users, enabling them to engage in a decentralized financial ecosystem. It provides tools and resources, including user-friendly wallets and community-driven platforms, to facilitate transactions and participation in the Shiba Cash community. Primary users are individuals looking to utilize Shiba Cash for payments and transactions, allowing them to benefit from low fees and fast processing times. The project aims to empower these users by fostering a sense of community and providing educational resources about cryptocurrency. Secondary participants, such as liquidity providers and creators, engage through staking and governance mechanisms, contributing to the overall growth and sustainability of the Shiba Cash ecosystem. This collaborative environment encourages active participation and supports the development of innovative use cases, ultimately enhancing the value and utility of Shiba Cash for all involved.
How is Shiba Cash secured?
Shiba Cash employs a proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, where validators confirm transactions and maintain the integrity of the network. This model allows participants to stake their tokens, which not only secures the network but also incentivizes them to act honestly. Validators are selected to create new blocks based on the amount of cryptocurrency they hold and are willing to "stake" as collateral. The protocol utilizes cryptographic techniques such as elliptic curve digital signature algorithm (ECDSA) to ensure secure authentication and data integrity. This cryptography protects against unauthorized access and ensures that transactions are valid and tamper-proof. Incentives are aligned through staking rewards, where validators earn rewards for their participation in the network. Additionally, mechanisms such as slashing are in place to penalize malicious behavior, discouraging validators from acting against the network's interests. To enhance security, Shiba Cash undergoes regular audits and implements governance processes that allow the community to participate in decision-making, further contributing to the resilience and reliability of the network.
Has Shiba Cash faced any controversy or risks?
Shiba Cash has faced some controversy primarily related to its community governance and market volatility. In mid-2021, there were reports of community disputes regarding the direction of the project and the allocation of funds, which led to concerns about transparency and decision-making processes. The team addressed these issues by implementing a more structured governance model, allowing community members to participate in key decisions through voting mechanisms. Additionally, like many cryptocurrencies, Shiba Cash is subject to market risks, including price fluctuations and liquidity challenges. The team has acknowledged these risks and has taken steps to enhance transparency by providing regular updates and engaging with the community through social media and forums. Ongoing risks for Shiba Cash include potential regulatory scrutiny, as the cryptocurrency landscape is evolving, and compliance with regulations is becoming increasingly important. The project continues to focus on improving security measures and maintaining open communication with its user base to mitigate these risks effectively.

What is Market depth?
Market depth is a metric, which is showing the real liquidity of the markets. Due to rampant wash-trading and fake activity - volume currently isn't the most reliable indicator in the crypto space.
What is it measuring?
It's measuring 1% or 10% section of the order book from the midpoint price (1%/10% of the buy orders, and 1%/10% of the sell orders).

Why it is important to use only 1% or 10%?
It's important, because measurement of the whole order book is going to give false results due to extreme values, which can make false illusion of liquidity for a given market.
How to use it?
By default Market depth is showing the most liquid markets sorted by Combined Orders (which is a sum of buy and sell orders). This way it provides the most interesting information already. Left (green) side of the market depth bar is showing how many buy orders are open, and right (red) side of the bar is showing how many sell orders are open (both can be recalculated to BTC, ETH or any fiat we have available on the site).

Confidence
Due to rampant malicious practices in the crypto exchanges environment, we have introduced in 2019 and 2020 new ways of evaluating exchanges and one of them is - Confidence. Because it's a new metric - it's essential to know how it works.
Confidence is weighted based on 3 principles:
Based on the liquidity from order books (75%) - including overall liquidity and market depth/volume ratio, volumes included, if exchange is low volume (below 2M USD volume 24h)
Based on web traffic (20%) - using Alexa rank as a main indicator of site popularity
Based on regulation (5%) - researching and evaluating licensing for exchange - by respective institutions
Adding all of these subscores give overall main result - Confidence
Confidence is mainly based on liquidity, because it's the most important aspect of cryptocurrency exchanges. Without liquidity there is no trading, illiquid markets tend to collapse in the long term. Besides liquidity - there is also an additional factor in calculation of score - market depth/volume ratio. If volume is huge (especially when it’s growing much faster than liquidity), and market depth seems to not keep pace with - it's reducing overall score. Exchanges that keep market makers liquidity with expanding volume are those that keep all ratios in-tact and have overall score above 75-80% (it means that they have all liquidity ratios above minimum requirements, high web traffic participation, and are often regulated).
