A global visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University and a senior computer PhD at Cambridge university in the United Kingdom. He has served in the Microsoft research and development center of Europe and the communication laboratory of Peking University. The main research areas include machine learning, image processing and bioinformatics. He wrote more than 20 papers that have been published in the journals of SCI and EI. He hosted the 2016 Chengdu social science project "Traffic Jam Prediction Based on Big Data"
