Boost for BONE Token: OKX Africa Adds Support Amidst Shibarium Growth and Scam Alerts
BONE ShibaSwap (BONE), the Shiba Inu governance token, sees a major boost as OKX Africa introduces support, amidst Shibarium's expanding transactions and increasing scam warnings within the community.
BONE Token Gains Support on OKX Africa
The Shiba Inu governance token, BONE ShibaSwap (BONE), is set to become more popular as OKX Africa, part of the Seychelles-based OKX exchange, starts supporting it. A Shiba Inu team member, Lucie, highlighted this important news on social media platform X. OKX's On-chain Earn feature lets users earn rewards in two ways: by staking in proof-of-stake (PoS) systems or participating in DeFi (Decentralized Finance) protocols. In PoS, earnings come from block rewards and transaction fees, while in DeFi, rewards are for staking or adding liquidity.
New Listings and Shibarium Growth
Recently, BONE got listed on another crypto exchange, EarnBIT, showing its increasing popularity. Also, Shibarium, the blockchain network using BONE as a gas token, has shown significant growth with over 332 million transactions and nearly 3 million blocks. At the time of writing, BONE's price had a small increase of 0.35% in the last 24 hours, reaching $0.547.
Warning Against Scams
As the Shiba Inu community grows, the risk of scams is rising. Scammers are creating fake accounts, sometimes imitating legitimate ones, to trick users. An X handle called Shibarmy Scam Alerts is working to identify and warn about these scams. The Shiba Inu community is advised to always check the credibility of sources and connect only with official channels and people on social media.
