Comparison with Bluesky starter packs

Starterpacks follows a pattern already present on Bluesky, a decentralised social network that released its Starter Packs feature in June 2024. Bluesky Starter Packs present invite-style collections of accounts tailored to a topic or community. X’s Starterpacks instead use centrally curated categories such as cryptocurrency and Bitcoin to group relevant profiles. This overlap in naming and structure links X’s feature to earlier interest-based account collections on competing platforms.

Starterpacks organises cryptocurrency-related accounts into dedicated groups on X.
