Web3 recruiting platform Bondex announced it raised $10 million in various funding rounds. Investors such as Animoca Brands, Morningstar, and Chainlink participated, according to a press release.
Bondex aims to transform professional networking by moving incentives from middlemen to users, allowing talent to benefit economically from the network they contribute to. The platform offers a gamified recruitment process, providing token or USD bounties up to $10,000 for successful hires. CEO Ignacio Palomera stated the funds will enhance the platform and integrate it with Web3 and Web2 ecosystems, aiming to challenge traditional recruitment platforms using blockchain.
Big names like Binance, Chainlink, and Blockchain.com use Bondex for hiring. Yat Sui, executive chairman at Animoca Brands, praised Bondex's innovative approach, highlighting its potential to revolutionize recruitment through Web3 and referrals.
Other significant funding rounds included Sonic, a gaming-focused Solana layer-2 network, raising $12 million in a Series A round led by Bitkraft. Farworld Labs, a gaming consortium on Farcaster, raised $1.75 million in a pre-seed round led by Lemniscap and Variant Funds. Additionally, Router Protocol completed an oversubscribed strategic funding round but did not disclose the amount or participants.
