Web3 Gaming to Explode in 2024: Industry Experts Predict

Web3 gaming is set to rise in 2024 with more blockchain games and collaborations, aiming for user-friendly experiences to boost wider adoption.

Despite the crypto bear market, web3 gaming is set for a big year in 2024 as reported by industry professionals. CEO of Wemade, Henry Chang, predicts there’d be more blockchain-based games with complex Web3 applications and a variety of genres in the coming year.

Chang also believes more gaming studios will be integrating Web3 into their portfolio, enhancing revenue streams, user experiences, and community engagement. Blockchain gaming empowers players with real ownership of in-game assets and connects games to the real-world economy Chang said.

CEO of G2A Capital Group Bartosz Skwarczek, agrees with Chang and believes there would be more partnerships between traditional gaming and Web3 startups. He expects these collaborations to lead to more accessible, user-friendly, and engaging Web3 games, which will move gamers to web3 gaming.

Integrating NFTs and developing a high-quality Web3 game could revolutionize blockchain gaming in 2024. However, the challenge remains in onboarding more players since blockchain is complex and gamers sometimes find it difficult to navigate it.
