Wall Street pushes deeper on-chain as tokenized assets top $43 billion
Tokenized real-world assets have topped $43 billion, rising about 37% in six months, according to Token Terminal. Tokenized funds account for nearly 80% of the market, with Ethereum hosting 57.8% of all onchain value.

Tokenized assets top $43 billion as institutions move onchain
The market for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) has climbed past $43 billion, rising about 37% over the past six months, according to Token Terminal. The growth continued even as broader crypto markets weakened. Traditional financial products keep migrating onto blockchain rails as banks and asset managers expand onchain issuance. Token Terminal's figure sits above rival tracker RWA.xyz, which values the combined market below $33 billion. The gap reflects methodology, since Token Terminal counts a wider range of tokenized financial instruments.
Funds dominate while Ethereum hosts most tokenized value
Tokenized funds dominate the sector at nearly 80% of total market value. Commodities rank second at 16.6%, followed by tokenized stocks at 3.8%. Ethereum remains the leading blockchain, hosting 57.8% of all tokenized value. BNB Chain accounts for 8.5%, ahead of zkSync Era at 7.5%, the XRP Ledger at 5.8% and Stellar at 5.4%. Sky leads issuers with $6.1 billion in tokenized assets. Securitize and Ondo Finance follow at $3.6 billion each. A small group of large players still anchors the market.
Standard Chartered ties Uniswap to the tokenization wave
Standard Chartered initiated coverage of Uniswap on 15 June 2026, framing the decentralized exchange as core infrastructure for tokenized assets. The bank's Geoff Kendrick set a $100 price target for the UNI token by the end of 2030, roughly 40 times its level that week. Standard Chartered expects the value of tokenized assets active in decentralized finance (DeFi) to rise 37-fold, pushing total value locked to about $2.7 trillion by 2030. Kendrick projects UNI will outpace both Bitcoin and Ether over the period.
UNI price falls despite long-term forecasts
UNI traded at $3.08 at the time of publication, down 14.6% over the past 24 hours (CoinPaprika, 18 June 2026). The token carried a market value near $1.85 billion, far below the levels in Standard Chartered's 2030 roadmap. The forecast depends on tokenized assets routing through DeFi venues over the coming years.
Tokenization broadens beyond Treasurys
The sector is diversifying beyond its early base in tokenized US Treasurys. Binance Research reported that the tokenized RWA market grew 589% from early 2025 to June 2026, with tokenized stocks the fastest-growing segment at 422%. Bonds and money market funds added $6.5 billion in value over the period, an 83% increase. Tokenized equities are gaining traction through platforms such as Ondo Markets and xStocks. The shift points to demand for onchain yield across more asset classes rather than a single product.
Citi projects a $5.5 trillion market by 2030
Citi projects the tokenization market will reach $5.5 trillion by 2030 in its base case, with a bull scenario of $8.2 trillion. The bank expects public market securities, particularly US equities and Treasurys, to drive early adoption. Citi pointed to the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq embedding tokenization into core issuance as key catalysts. The report frames the industry as moving beyond the pilot stage as regulatory clarity improves.
