Fold announced on 23 September 2025 that it will launch a Bitcoin rewards credit card in partnership with Visa and Stripe. The card will run on the Visa network, with infrastructure provided by Stripe Issuing.
Fold stated that customers will be able to earn 2% back in Bitcoin on purchases, with promotions reaching 3.5%.
This credit card expands Fold’s existing lineup. The company already offers a Visa debit card that provides Bitcoin rewards. The upcoming credit product signals a move to integrate crypto rewards more deeply into traditional credit infrastructure.
The planned launch shows how mainstream payment networks are positioning Bitcoin rewards as a consumer offering, bridging digital assets with traditional finance.
