Tokenized Stock Volume Leaps 415% in a Month as Holders More Than Double
Tokenized stock transfer volume rose 415% over the past 30 days to $29.5 billion, according to RWA.xyz data. Monthly active addresses climbed 209% to around 1.3 million and holders increased 167% to 2.36 million.

Tokenized stock transfer volume jumped 415% to $29.5 billion
Tokenized stock activity surged over the past 30 days. Monthly transfer volume, which tracks the value of tokens moved onchain, rose 415% to $29.5 billion, according to data from RWA.xyz. Tokenized stocks are shares of listed companies represented as blockchain tokens, which let investors trade equity exposure on public networks. The figure covers a single 30-day window, so it measures how often these tokens changed hands rather than their total size. The sharp move marks one of the strongest months on record for onchain equity trading.
Active addresses and holders more than doubled in a month
Participation widened alongside the volume gain. Monthly active addresses climbed 209% to around 1.3 million over the same period, RWA.xyz data shows. The number of tokenized stock holders rose 167% to 2.36 million. Active addresses count wallets that transacted during the month, while holders count wallets that carry a balance. Both measures more than doubled inside the 30-day window, which signals broader use of tokenized equities rather than a small group trading more often.
Distributed value reached $2.54 billion, up 637% in a year
The total value of tokenized stocks distributed onchain reached $2.54 billion, a 1.45% rise over the past 30 days. Measured against a year earlier, that figure is up roughly 637% from $344 million. Distributed value reflects the standing size of the market, similar to assets under management, while transfer volume reflects monthly trading. The gap between the two windows is wide. The yearly base grew sharply over 12 months, yet it barely moved in the latest month, even as trading volume leapt.
Ondo, Kraken and Binance control about 81% of the market
A small group of platforms handles most distribution. Ondo leads with $842.8 million in distributed value, followed by Kraken's xStocks at $609.3 million and Binance's bStocks at $599.9 million. Together the three account for about 81% of the market. Among single tokens, Securitize Corp. sits near $163 million in distributed value. A Strategy variable xStock follows at $136 million, and an Ondo-issued token tied to Circle Internet Group stands at $109 million. The concentration shows how few venues currently carry onchain equity supply.
Ondo token traded near $0.35 at the time of publication
Ondo, the largest tokenized-stock distributor, also issues the ONDO token. ONDO traded at $0.35 at the time of publication, up 0.8% over the previous 24 hours, with a $1.72 billion market value (CoinPaprika, 30 August 2026). The token ranked among the 50 largest crypto assets by market value on the same date (CoinPaprika, 30 August 2026). Its price moves with the wider Ondo platform, not with any one tokenized share.
Coinbase and Bitwise expanded access in late August
New products arrived as volume climbed. Coinbase launched tokenized US stocks on its Base network on 24 August. Bitwise followed on 25 August with automated tokenized-stock portfolios. The additions expand how investors can hold equity exposure onchain and add to the platforms already tracked by RWA.xyz. Both launches landed inside the same 30-day window that recorded the volume surge.
