JPMorgan and Coinbase Join Forces to Simplify Crypto Buying

JPMorganChase and Coinbase have announced a new partnership aimed at making crypto purchases more accessible and flexible for users. The collaboration adds new tools for both platforms, combining traditional banking with digital assets in a smoother way.

Three key features are launching soon:

  • Direct bank-to-wallet connection: Chase customers can now link their bank accounts directly to Coinbase wallets, making it faster and safer to move funds into crypto.

  • Chase rewards to crypto: Users will be able to convert Chase Ultimate Rewards points into crypto on Coinbase at a 1:1 value—100 points equals $1.

  • Credit card funding: Starting this fall, Chase credit cards will be accepted as a payment method to fund Coinbase accounts, offering even more flexibility.

This move marks a significant step in blending banking and crypto for everyday users.

Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile and involve significant risk. You may lose part or all of your investment.
