Figure Profit Nearly Triples as Loan Marketplace Volume Hits $4.3B

Figure reports record second-quarter marketplace volume
Figure Technology Solutions reported $4.3 billion in Consumer Loan Marketplace volume for the second quarter of 2026. That figure rose 132% from the same period a year earlier. Six-month marketplace volume reached $7.2 billion, up 124% year-over-year. Figure describes itself as a blockchain-native capital marketplace for the origination, funding and trading of tokenized assets. The company trades on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker FIGR.
Net income nearly tripled to $87 million
Net income increased 192% to $87 million, up from $30 million a year earlier. Net revenue reached $226 million, a 113% year-over-year gain. Six-month net revenue reached $393 million, up 106%, and six-month net income totaled $132 million. The net income margin widened to 38.8%, an increase of 10.5 percentage points. Diluted earnings per share reached $0.35, up from $0.08 a year earlier. Adjusted net revenue rose 95% to $218 million. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 126% to $119 million, for a 54.6% margin. The net take rate eased to 3.6% from 4.0%.
Figure Connect drove most of the volume
Third-party activity on Figure Connect reached $2.8 billion, or 65% of total marketplace volume. That platform volume grew 262% from the prior-year quarter. Figure Connect is the company's capital-light marketplace for third-party loans. Figure launched the platform in June 2024. The company added 102 origination partners during the period, bringing its active total to 489. Those partners span mortgage banks, depositories, servicers and fintech firms. Small and medium business loan volume rose 57% from the previous quarter.
Efficiency and funding activity improved
Operations and processing costs fell to about 67 basis points of marketplace volume, down from 79 basis points a year earlier. Third-party borrowing on the company's Democratized Prime service reached roughly $170 million as of 6 August 2026. That level marked about a 23-fold increase since the end of 2025. The Democratized Prime ecosystem now spans auto, home equity and small business assets. Cash and cash equivalents, excluding restricted cash, totaled $1.4 billion at quarter end. Loans held for sale climbed 47.7% to $597 million from the end of 2025.
Stablecoin market frames the tokenized push
Figure's results arrive as tokenized-asset and stablecoin markets keep expanding. USDC traded at $1.00 with a $71.88 billion market cap at the time of publication (CoinPaprika, 16 August 2026). Figure reported $556 million of its own YLDS token in circulation as of 30 June 2026. That total grew from $328 million at the end of 2025.
Figure guides third-quarter volume higher
Figure expects third-quarter Consumer Loan Marketplace volume between $4.8 billion and $5.2 billion. Chief Executive Michael Tannenbaum said weekly loan applications surpassed $1 billion as of July. Figure also expects its pending acquisition of Kiavi to close in the second half of 2026. The company plans to use that deal to extend into adjacent asset classes.
