US spot bitcoin and ether ETFs drew a combined $282 million in net inflows last week, ending an eight-week outflow streak. Bitcoin funds took in $197.4 million and ether funds added $84.4 million over the five trading days.

Bitcoin and ether ETFs drew $282 million last week
US spot bitcoin and ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded a combined $281.8 million in net inflows during the week of 7 July to 11 July 2026. The result snapped an eight-week outflow streak, the longest run of redemptions since the products launched. It marked the first positive week since the period that ended 8 May 2026, when the funds drew $622.7 million.
Bitcoin funds led the weekly rebound
Bitcoin ETFs attracted $197.4 million over the five trading days, while ether ETFs added $84.4 million. Weekly trading volume reached $8.41 billion for bitcoin funds and $2.05 billion for ether funds. Products from BlackRock, Fidelity and VanEck were among those recording inflows. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) is the largest spot bitcoin ETF by assets.
The reversal ended a $9.46 billion outflow run
The eight-week stretch of redemptions had drained about $8.26 billion from bitcoin funds and $1.20 billion from ether funds. Last week's inflows recovered only a small share of those losses. Bitcoin ETFs clawed back 2.4 percent of their eight-week total, while ether ETFs recovered about 7 percent. The run set a record for the products, surpassing an earlier stretch of five straight negative weeks for bitcoin funds.
Net assets held near $77 billion for bitcoin
Bitcoin ETF net assets stood at $77.42 billion on Friday, against $51.28 billion in cumulative net inflows since launch. Ether ETF net assets totaled $9.59 billion. Both products remain in net outflow for 2026, with bitcoin funds down $5.34 billion and ether funds down $1.35 billion so far this year.
