The SAFU fund holds 15,000 BTC after completing the conversion. Multiple sources confirm the total Bitcoin holdings at approximately $1.005 billion at completion. Binance executed the conversion in five separate purchase tranches over 12 days. The exchange completed the shift 18 days ahead of its announced 30-day timeline.

Average purchase price near $70,000 per coin

Binance acquired Bitcoin at an average price of approximately $70,000 per coin during the conversion. Individual purchase tranches ranged from $66,887 to $71,006 per Bitcoin. The exchange executed purchases during early February 2026 market conditions. Bitcoin traded at $67,000 at the time of conversion completion on 11 February 2026.
