Amsterdam Amdax to Launch Bitcoin Treasury Company on Euronext

Amdax, one of the Netherlands’ top crypto service providers, has launched a new company, AMBTS B.V., with the goal of eventually owning 1% of all Bitcoin in circulation. The move aims to attract institutional investors by offering direct exposure to Bitcoin through a future listing on Euronext Amsterdam, one of Europe’s key stock exchanges.

The timing aligns with growing global interest in Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation and market uncertainty. With regulation becoming clearer across the EU, including the new MiCAR framework, Amdax sees this as a strategic moment to expand its presence. As a fully licensed and regulated crypto company, Amdax is well-positioned to lead this initiative.

AMBTS will operate independently but benefit from Amdax’s regulatory experience and infrastructure. The company plans to raise capital through private investment to start accumulating Bitcoin, eventually scaling up through public markets. If successful, AMBTS would become one of the first publicly listed Bitcoin treasury companies in Europe.
