CoinPaprika Highlights data guide Read https://coinpaprika.com/highlights.json for the full dataset and https://coinpaprika.com/highlights/schema.json for its structural contract (schema_version 1.0.0). https://coinpaprika.com/highlights.csv provides one row per observed coin entry; it has a header row. This is live data, refreshed continuously. captured_at (JSON and CSV) is the time the data was assembled; responses are cached for a few minutes, so compare captured_at with the current time before answering time-sensitive questions. numeric_value is convenient for comparisons; decimal_value is the same number as a plain decimal string (never exponent notation). Percent values use percentage units: 1.55 means 1.55%, not 0.0155. USD identifies dollar prices. Multiples use ratios: 4.2 means 4.2 times the baseline. list_position is the ordering in this shortlist, starting at 1; market_cap_rank is a separate market-wide rank. coin_id and url identify the asset, not its ticker alone. A missing value is null in JSON and an empty cell in CSV; it never means zero. An unavailable list has status=unavailable, an unavailable_reason, and an empty rows array. It does not indicate zero trading activity. Unavailable lists appear in the JSON only; the CSV holds observed rows only. Highest Vol Multiple is the latest 24h volume divided by the average daily volume of the previous six days. Trending ranks coins by their recent rise in interest on CoinPaprika; Most Visited ranks them by visits. The window of that ranking is not specified (ranking_window is "unspecified"); window_hours is the lookback of the 24h-change value shown, not of the ranking. ATH values mean the percentage gain required to regain the peak, not the distance below it. Upcoming Coins are the freshest listings, not a future launch. All data is also represented in the HTML page https://coinpaprika.com/highlights without requiring JavaScript. No authentication tokens, trading operations or live MCP service are provided by these resources.
